How to Delete Individual Data in Beloved Presence

You don't need to delete your entire account to remove specific content. Beloved Presence lets you permanently delete individual items at any time, directly within the app.

Delete an entire loved one profile

  1. Open the loved one's profile.
  2. Tap "Edit Profile."
  3. Tap "Delete This Profile" and confirm.

This permanently removes that loved one and everything tied to them — photos, videos, recordings, signature, consent, family tree entries, bucket list items, reminders, and messages — while your account and any other loved ones remain untouched.

Delete a photo or video

  1. Open the loved one's Photos & Videos gallery.
  2. Tap into a photo or video, then tap "Delete" — or tap "Select" to choose multiple items and delete them together.

Delete a recorded interview answer

  1. Open the loved one's Interview Questions screen.
  2. Tap the ✕ next to any recorded answer.

Delete a bucket list item, family tree entry, or reminder

Each of these sections shows a delete option (✕ or trash icon) directly next to every individual item.

Delete a message

  1. Open the loved one's Message to Send Later screen.
  2. Tap "Delete" next to any previously sent message.
Deleting an individual item removes both its record and the actual file itself from our storage. This happens immediately and cannot be undone — there is no retention period.
