By creating an account or using Beloved Presence, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Beloved Presence lets you create a profile for a loved one, record interview answers, upload photos and videos, build a family tree and bucket list, capture signed and spoken consent, and send them a written message. You are solely responsible for the content you upload and for obtaining any necessary consent from the people featured in it.
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been compromised.
You own everything you upload — recordings, photos, videos, and written content. You grant us a limited license to store and display that content back to you within the app. We do not sell your content or use it to train AI models.
The Message feature includes automated scanning for language that may indicate a mental health crisis or intent to harm someone. When detected, we display crisis support resources (such as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). This is a best-effort, automated feature — it is not a substitute for professional help, and Beloved Presence is not a crisis or emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact 911 (or your local emergency number) directly.
Beloved Presence is free to download and includes one loved one profile with a set amount of storage at no cost. Optional one-time purchases are available within the app: additional loved one profiles for $1.99 each, and a 5GB storage expansion for $3.99. These are one-time purchases, not subscriptions — there is no recurring charge.
All purchases are processed by Google Play, and prices are shown in the app before you confirm. Because these purchases unlock content immediately, they are generally non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Google Play under their refund policy. Deleting your account or a loved one profile does not entitle you to a refund of purchases already made. We will provide advance notice before introducing any new charge or changing existing prices.
Don't use this app to upload content you don't have the right to share, to harass or harm others, or to attempt to access another user's account or data.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Beloved Presence is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data, content, or damages arising from your use of the app. We strongly encourage using the Sharing feature to keep independent copies of anything irreplaceable.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
